In the last week's survey

• Through the changing economic climate and the global environmental crisis, i had to make the difficult decision to sell the business. 18months ago after speaking with business broker i was mortified to find out how little my business was actually going to sell for with out me in it. With a regular customer base and regular repeat work the reality was that i was the business. After looking at the choices of closing shop or swallowing my pride and accepting the 'loss' with the expected sale price, We did a little more digging and came across KiM Software at a trade show. With the help of their enVision software and the above expected personalised support approach we have effectively doubled our expected sale price of the business and feel we are only half way there... Systematizing and implementing business processes has been harder than i cared to think back then. But now we are starting to see the effects of our work process flow over haul (putting the bottom line aside for the moment) the staff are now capable of managing their job boards and with assistance of a pseudo production manager our production has doubled. kim software hasn't just made our business worth more its given us more direction more report ability more accountability of staff and more independence to the business as a whole. I now know that everything doesn't come to a screeching halt if im not there on any given day.
• Since there wasn't a box to fill in the details of the software I use, this area will have to do. We use KiM Software to run our small design and sign shop, since install the software we found out we have been missing a lot of jobs that we haven't been charging for this in it's self has just been worth it... We have found over the period of a year we are now managing our work much better and taken a lot of stress out of our shop. I do have to say I struggled at first getting all our data in but it has been worth it the ability to turn a quote into a job then an invoice has made admin work a lot easier as its not my forte. I don't often do surveys but KiM has definitely changed our business... I had to say something.. Hope this of help.
• I have worked at a few different places over the last 10 years half used a MIS and the other couple that didn't use one they were all 'over the place' complete shambles. KiM is easily the best MIS i have worked with not just from the little details about jobs i had to enter in, but reading the job sheets and being able to change how they printed out so we all knew what we had to do or where to look for what had to be done next.
• We use KiM great product, from our bare bones beginning we were able to customise and adjust KiM Vision into every thing we wanted it to be. The flexibility of the system has allowed KiM to grow as we have. KiM is the best employee i have ever had the one single business expense i have made that is worth more the longer i have it instead of depreciating or being superseded by a faster model, it never has a sickie and all my staff now know where to find every thing they need.
• We implemented the K.I.M. System a couple of years ago and have never looked back. At first it is quite a considerable outlay being that we required 10 licenses and a server license, but once implemented and the new systems are in place it can streamline and simplify not just the production management operations of your organisation but also the full customer service and management systems of your organisation also.
